The Hydro chain driven crank provides positive traction. The crank handle rotates allowing the assembly to fit tight against the box wall. A ratchet safety system prevents the crank handle from rotating freely while closing the tarp system. The crank assembly components are plated to reduce corrosion. The specially coated chain (Hydro) is used to provide maximum corrosion resistance, far superior to zinc or nickel, while maintaining the strength and durability of carbon steel chain.
The ECONO Flip Tarp systems are available in lengths 10 ft. to 22 ft.
Heavy duty helical torsion springs on both sides provide equal resistance and tension control when operating the tarp system
“Optional” Rear Lock Assembly is designed for easy and trouble free operation. With this unique design there are no straps required to secure the rear cross member.
1. Top Mounted Crank System that:
– Fastens directly to end of roll-tube
– Crank assembly has similar ratchet safety features as the bottom crank
– Does not require roller chain
2. Six types of fabric to choose from:
– Neoprene – Heat and Chemical resistant (Black Only)
– 22oz. PVC (Available in Red, White, Royal Blue, Black)
– Mesh (Available in Red, Blue, Black, Green, Yellow, Orange)
– Asphalt – Heat resistant 15oz. RFL (Black Only)
– 19oz. PVC (Below 18 colours available)
3. Stainless Steel Roller Chain Upgrade
4. Pivot Arm Elbow Upgrade
Pivot Arm Elbow Upgrade is available to reduce risk of loader interference
5. Dual Pivot Arm Tension Control System
Dual Pivot Arm Tension Control System conforms the tarp to the load shape, reducing billowing of the tarp fabric.
6. Clutch Crank available for all units.
7. ELECTRIC UPGRADES:
“Direct Drive”Model
Motor mounts directly to the front roll tube. A brass bushing in the roll tube prevents the motor shaft from ever seizing. Back up cranks can be used by simply taking one bolt out.
Available in 12v or 24v motor depending on the existing electrical system.
Available using a rocker switch from inside the cab or a Wireless Remote
“Chain Drive” Model
Motor Mounts to a separate bracket and is connected to the roll tube with a short Hydro Chain. Back up crank can be used by simply removing the chain. This option is used on Longer units with the arms mounted very high. With this system the motor can be geared down with the use of different size sprockets for higher torque.
Available in 12v or 24v motor depending on the existing electrical system.
Available using a rocker switch from inside the cab or a Wireless Remote
